Masterchef I ain’t.

I’ll keep this short and sweet…mainly coz it’s late, and I’ll only ramble if I’m tired.
I love to cook. Simple as that. I love trying out new recipes, and I love baking cakes. Not like, masterchef cooking. I mean, I don’t even host dinner parties. And it’s certainly not Bake Off standard. I’m more of what you’d call a rustic Homecook.

I can't remember the last time I had the need to 'Julienne' anything!

I have four small kiddliwinks, and I’m a stay-at-home mum. So as you can imagine, keeping the cost of meals down, and making them healthy and nutritious is a big part of me doing my job right.

I’ve challenged myself to cut my monthly shopping bill down by £100 (I’ll go into that a little more another time), the main reason being that I want to have more money in the bank for other things, such as family trips, and going on the occasional date with the OH (or, you know, a night out with the girls).

So you can follow my ramblings here. I may post pictures of my latest culinary masterpiece (or flop…it happens), or tips on budgeting, making meals stretch further, that sort of stuff. I can’t guarantee there won’t be other more random stuff…but then I’m easily distracted.
