I have two poorly babies at home today. They’ve both been off their food recently. So I obliged them with popcorn and a DVD at 9:30 in the morning. As you do. I sprinkled some of this Tutti Frutti sugar over the popcorn.
I saw Jamie Oliver make this recipe on one of his Christmas food programmes. However, the delicious spiced sugar keeps well, and can be used all year round. Sprinkle over bread puddings, pancakes, cakes, on French toast, even over a cappucino. The possibilities are almost limitless. Just keep it in a tightly sealed jar, ready to open and sniff any time you need cheering up. Give it away in pretty gift jars, or simply in plastic Poundland pots, as I do any time a friend of mine falls equally in love with it’s heady scent. Trust me, this recipe makes plenty, you’ll have enough to spare. Share the love….

Let me know what you think, and the variety of things you found to sprinkle it on. I’d love to hear from you.
